Today we have learnt about a chariot near Pompeii covered in ashes and buried in 79Ad. Our big question we have to answer is Do we think that the artifact should be left were it is or relocated? My team decided on it to be relocated because if would be able to be appreciated and learnt about from people and they could learn about there past and history of there country. So I have said my view know what do you think.

This week we have been learning about Identity Poems and having a go at doing some word art.  After we had written three different poems about ourselves we had to make word art using words that describe us and set it out with a quote we like and a photo of ourselves. Here is mine.

This week we did all about me maths and we had to do some problem solving and tell our teachers our strengths and weaknesses in maths we also had to introduce ourselves using numbers. Her is mine:

My journal task

 This week we have started our sunken forest journal  This was our task for this week we had to answer the questions and write a full paragraph using the paragraph structure we were given. This is mine:

Journal Task 1: Kindness

 “The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention.”

What do you think this means?  Describe a time where a small act of kindness has made a big difference for you.

I think it means that sometimes the smallest thing can actually help somebody even if you don’t realise and good intentions can not always work out and sometimes just a little smile or wave or saying hello to someone can actually make their day. They say when you smile someone that person will be made happy and then they will smile at someone else and this goes on and on and a smile costs nothing but is the greatest gift. I remember when I was younger and I was doing a dance show and I was already too then I started crying for some reason and my make-up smudged. Mum did her best to fix it and when I got there one of the other mums lent us some special make up and helped me look better again. When I went on that stage I looked and felt better because of that small act of kindness.

Marshmallow catapult 

Today me, Andie and Mckenzie made a marshmallow catapult we used 5 marshmallows, 7 skewers, 1 elastic band, 1 wooden teaspoon and some sellotape. Miss foster taught us how to make it step by step and afterwards we had a go at firing them. We did this by using some skewers and marshmallows to make a base and then using the elastic band to get the energy we needed and the further you pull it back the further the marshmallow would go. At first it barely even moved but with a bit of help it went further. Hope you enjoy watching and learning what we did.

Bee Bots race

Today in the afternoon we got out the bee bots and tried to have races between them it was really hard because we had to make sure they didn't wreck the race maze and also to make sure it didn't crash into each other. I was the coder of one bee bot in the first race and in the second i was the videoer and the creator(I made the course.) Here are some pictures of the second one

 Today we were doing bee bot it was so fun but our bee bot was very destructive here is a video of it and some pictures even though it looks cute it is very destructive.
